Day 1 : Half Day Tour to Philae and Obelisk
Start your Aswan Day Tour with a pickup from your hotel by our representative. Your first stop will be the High Dam, an impressive feat of engineering completed in 1960 that safeguards Egypt from the Nile’s annual floods. Next, visit the Unfinished Obelisk, which reveals the methods ancient Egyptians used to carve these monumental stone pillars. This obelisk is thought to have belonged to Queen Hatshepsut of the 18th Dynasty or possibly Queen Nefertiti. Conclude your tour with a visit to the magnificent Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, the principal deity of the island. After your visit, you will be returned to your hotel.
